'MYSTERY EYES', Solo Show - Brighton, UK.My 1st solo exhibition 'Mystery Eyes' was a success with over 65 pieces displayed over the 2 floors of Gallery40 in Brighton. (see pictures below for some highlights..) The works are imaginative expressions of my observations from life, inspired by the similarities, differences and mysterious elements of humankind and its social structures. I received lots of buzz & positive feedback from people, here are some things that were said publicly on the internet: Artists Open Houses Blog – “Bold, colourful, abstract and surreal, Jack’s striking, mixed-media style is instantly recognisable and, I think, great. I particularly enjoyed his paper cut-out work and the large triptych on display...” Whatsoneventssussex - “So much amazing art..” Gallery40 – “Seeing is believing..” Tichborne Gallery - “Don't miss this gem of a show. Gets a prize for the best use of a fireplace in an art gallery in May.” Brighton Media Centre – “Oooooh. ..a touch of mystery. " Kate Davey / kd_outsiderart - “Some great art…” Hippo Art – “Really love the work…” 'Tight Modern' National Tour 2014I was selected to exhibit a piece of my work in this years 'Tight Modern' national tour, so far the show has been to Brighton's Fringe Festival and London's Creativity and Wellbeing Week with thousands of people visiting the display. About 'Tight Modern': "People can expect to see 60 great pieces of artwork featured around a miniature replica of the iconic Tate Modern.
